Reflecting his diverse work in music, Ed Vodicka has assembled several different concert programs for venues of all sizes, and arranged for small ensembles to large orchestras.
Jazz is Ed’s first love, and his Jazz and The Great American Songbook program is a finely tuned combination of the music of America’s great jazz composers ranging from Duke Ellington to Thelonius Monk and great standards from the pen of Cole Porter, Irving Berlin and Richard Rodgers. For detailed program information, please see the detail page link below.
In addition to Jazz, Ed has several more “pop” programs prepared ranging from a standards Salute To The Singers to tributes to Elton John and Carole King. In addition, he also offers a festive program, Christmas Classics for orchestra and chorus.
For the most part, Ed has prepared each program with multiple orchestrations: Trio, Big Band, Pop Chamber Orchestra, Studio Orchestra and Symphony Pops Orchestra. See each program for orchestration availability, and see the instrumentation description page as well. And be sure to see what both reviewers and presenters say about Ed’s performances on the Reviews & Comments page.
