A Salute To The Singers

Salute To The SingersThe ’50s and ’60s were the golden age of the pop vocalist.  Ed and his friend, record industry veteran Jerry Sharrell have assembled this tribute to some of the greats.  It features vocals by Jerry and two of his offspring, Janine and Jerry Joseph.

The ensemble presents an overview of each selection, and who the stars were that made it famous:  Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Perry Como, Doris Day, Rosemary Clooney, Vic Damone, and Johnny Mathis — to name a few.

Jerry Sharrell is the past president of The Society of Singers,  an organization founded by Mrs. Henry Mancini to help singers in need.  The Society of Singers assists vocalists on a national basis, so cross promotional possibilities usually exist in most markets.
